• Waitlist registrations: name, email address, and your role (buyer, seller, agent, buyer's agent).
• Account creation: name, email address, phone number, and account type. For licensed agents, your QLD real estate licence number.
• Property listings: suburb, property type, price, description, and photos submitted by vendors or agents.
• Buyer enquiries: name, email address, phone number, and the message you submit when enquiring about a listing.
• Payment information: we use Stripe to process payments. We do not store your card details — Stripe handles all payment data under their own privacy and security standards.
• Usage data: pages visited, browser type, and general location (city/region) via standard web analytics.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To operate and provide the property advertising platform.
• To send buyer enquiries to the relevant vendor or agent who placed the listing.
• To send you listing alert emails if you have opted in during sign-up (you may unsubscribe at any time).
• To verify agent licence numbers against the QLD Office of Fair Trading register.
• To process your $99 listing fee payment via Stripe.
• To send transactional emails such as listing confirmations and enquiry notifications.
• To improve our platform and detect fraudulent or misleading listings.

We do not use your personal information for any purpose other than those listed above without your consent.

4. Who We Share Your Information With

We share personal information only in the following limited circumstances:

• Buyer enquiries: when you submit an enquiry on a listing, your name, email, phone number, and message are sent directly to the vendor or agent who placed that listing. By submitting an enquiry you consent to this disclosure.
• Service providers: we use trusted third-party services to operate the platform, including Supabase (database), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (payments), Cloudinary (image storage), and Resend (email). These providers process data on our behalf and are bound by their own privacy policies.
• Legal obligations: we may disclose information where required by law, court order, or to respond to a valid government request.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for marketing purposes.

5. Contact Details and Listing Privacy

Vendor and agent contact details (phone numbers and email addresses) are never displayed publicly on listing pages. They are shared only with buyers who submit an enquiry through the platform. Property street addresses are not shown publicly — only the suburb is visible. The full address is included in the enquiry notification sent to enquiring buyers.

6. Data Retention

• Waitlist data: retained until you request removal or the platform launches and waitlist data is no longer needed.
• Account data: retained while your account is active. Deleted within 30 days of a valid deletion request.
• Listing data: listings expire after 90 days and are archived. Full listing data is retained for 12 months for fraud prevention and dispute resolution, then deleted.
• Enquiry data: retained for 12 months, then deleted.
• Payment records: retained for 7 years as required by Australian tax law.

7. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on servers located in Australia or in jurisdictions with equivalent data protection standards. We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information from unauthorised access, disclosure, or loss. These include encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and secure environment variable management for all credentials.

8. Your Rights

Under the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.

• Complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au if you believe we have breached the APPs.
